Ronis Sharipov is appointed Head of Tupolev PJSC
In accordance with the resolutions of the Board of Directors of UAC PJSC and the Board of Directors of Tupolev PJSC, Ronis Sharipov is appointed General Director of Tupolev PJSC (part of the UAC of Rostec State Corporation) from June 5, 2020. The former head of Tupolev PJSC Alexander Konyukhov leaves the company.
During Alexander Konyukhov’s leadership, Tupolev PJSC put in place a large-scale technology upgrade program for the Kazan aviation factory, launched projects to modernize the strategic bombers line, carried out the first flight of the fully modernized Tu-160, laid the foundations for further sustainable development of the design bureau and the enterprise.
The new head of Tupolev PJSC Ronis Sharipov led one of the enterprises of the aviation cluster of the Rostec State Corporation - JSC Scientific and Production Association Radioelectronics named after V.I. Shimko since 2013. Earlier, Ronis Sharipov served as First Deputy General Director of Radioelectronic Technologies Concern, headed Radiopribor OJSC, worked as the First Vice Chairman of Amur Region Government, was one of the leaders of Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant OJSC, and worked in senior positions in government structures of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ronis Sharipov’s experience will be relevant in Tupolev PJSC and make it possible to continue the implementation of strategic development plans and the fulfilment of the most important government tasks assigned for the enterprise and design bureau.
